{ JUST A BIT ABOUT ME }
I know every episode of 'I Love Lucy' by heart & still laugh out loud. I'll always choose experiences over possessions. My favorite comfort foods are mac'n'cheese and ice cream. I love traveling & exploring the world outside my bubble. You can often find me being a beach bum if the sun is shining. I'm a hopeless romantic. I'm married to the love of my life, Danny. I own way too many dreamcatchers, but I still buy more. And I'm just madly in love with life. And love. And capturing it.
{ THE GIRL WITH THE CAMERA }
When I was just a little girl myself, I was obsessed with babies. I would get so happy when a mom would let me give their baby a bottle & rock them to sleep. I wanted to babysit all the little ones around me, even when I was so young that I needed a babysitter myself!
I discovered the camera as a teen & it was love at first sight. A little black box that you can push a button on & it freezes a moment in time forever. It captures life. It paints with light. How could I not be in love?!
That's when my two worlds collided. I started taking pictures of my favorite things... the babies & kids in my family. I took photography classes in high school, became the yearbook photographer, & got nicknamed "paparazzi" by all of my friends. I took pictures of everything, especially my baby sister, Sophia, who was born when I was 17. You might see her around on my website... She's my muse. Fast forward to my college years, when Psychology & Child Development were my majors & I was a part time preschool teacher. Believe it or not, that's when the magic happened. One magical morning, my student's mama, Christie, said to me, "your photography is beautiful & the kids already feel comfy with you... why don't you come over & take our family photos?"
Here we are more than a decade & a half later. My heart is so full. I get to combine my two great loves - photography & children. Lots of art has been created. I've met the coolest people & have captured their happiest times. I couldn't be more grateful.
{ PHOTO SESSIONS WITH ME }
If you're looking for a photographer who will just show up with a camera, pose you & yell "say cheese", I'm not your gal. Once you book a photo session with me, we will begin the fun process of styling your shoot! I don't stick to one style, because every one is so different. I want to hear all about you guys & make the right artistic choices to create a session that you will enjoy & look back on the memories of. Tell me your story so that I can capture it on film for you. It's all about having fun! We're here to celebrate life & photograph all the yummy in it. Laugh, dance, cuddle, be yourselves. My camera & I will do the rest of the work ;)

This really is an investment in your life. Time is something you never get back & I love nothing more but to capture your happy times.
Portrait session packages start at $1175.
My packages all include digital negatives for you to keep & print from. I don’t believe in withholding any images from you to get you to pay more. These are your memories, I promise to capture them fully and give you more than enough images to remember this time in your lives.
I offer a variety of ways to celebrate your new memories! Wall art, prints & albums are available upon request. It's so rewarding getting to fill my clients' walls & coffee tables with their favorite captured memories.
